Mono

(Monodactylus Argenteus)

Picture
The mono is a good brackish water fish that can be kept in a mixed barcish water aquarium with other simalar sized fish. Their body's are mostly grey yellow finnage and two vertical black stripes running across the face. They are somtimes mistaken for freshwater angelfish as the to fish look quite alike. Monos should be kept in a group. Do not keep monos with small companions as thy may eat them. They are shy fish by nateure and there should be plenty of hiding places in the aquarium.
